Halloween

This Saturday we're going to an (adult) Halloween party. I haven't dressed up for Halloween in FOREVER, so I'm feeling a little indecisive (and like a major procrastinator). Neither of us have any ideas, so I thought I'd throw it out there....Got any ideas for us?? We're not opposed to doing a "couple" costume(s), but we couldn't come up with anything good....
I don't want to spend a bunch of $$ on a costume that I'll only wear once, but I want to wear something...because, well, it's just more fun that way.

Any ideas???

What are you doing for Halloween?

I myself have debated over this. At one point I wanted to be Princess Jasmine and have Daniel be Aladdin. But after birthing a child I don’t feel comfortable exposing my tummy. Not to mention the fact that living in poverty tends to put a damper on cute costumes.

All that to say- I have a Halloween shirt I may wear if I cant come up with anything. Yes- my procrastination usually ends up with me being a party pooper.

That really doesnt help you now does it? Darn my ramblings. I will get back to you with suggestions.

I've always thought that Fred & Willma Flintstone would be cool. Or maybe an angel and the devil. I don't know.

One of these days I want to be Capt. Planet!

How about both of you dressing in black suits and sunglasses and go as Men in Black. If one of your boys has a weird stuffed toy that could double for an Alien. Heck, take the three boys with you and they CAN be the Aliens. ;)

Auntie Dee :)

Steve could be Aaron Fultz (pitcher #46 from the Indians) & you could be his trophy wife. Or you could be Jenny Finch (major softball star). Both are cheap & simple costumes.

Crap, they're both sort of "couples" costumes - sorry :)

(Daniel... please do Capt. Planet!!!!! some time @ least if not Sat.)
Also, I think Ness may be on to something...

Wow, Tamm;

What are you doing in GA that has men picturing you as a "trashy waffle house waitress"...

And should I happen to be a Waffle House waitress, I would have to be offended by this comment, Casey and Dan. :0)

Hmm....
How about a pile of laundry? Hook some sort of straps to a cheap laundry basket, cut a hole in the bottom to step through and then throw some of that Laundry Mountain on yourself and go. Easy, peasy and it's pretty much everything you have lying around anyway, right???

Wow, I may just do that myself. We're dressing up this year b/c I found out one of my chic friends here in AL, hands out full-size candy bars; we were all over that one.

If foregoing church harvest fest for full-size candy bars is wrong, I don't want to be right. Seriously.

I forgot Steve. Okay, Steve could be that long, lost white sock. Ha, ha.

Okay, I just caught up with Tammi-blog.

So, here's a summarization:

Tammi:

Has a chimp-like baby, slobbering-pirate hubby, likes sleeping in trees, while snorting red, fall leaves and watching naked-lady silhouettes dance until she's dizzy.

That about sums it up. :0)

Seriously, I'm off to "work" now.

oooohh....good ideas here.

I think we've got it figured out...I like our idea. Simple, but fun (and not too restricting, or requiring use of a mask).

We'll take pictures. :)
