$30...the story of my life

It seems like every time I go to the store, it costs me $30.

Trip to the store to pick up eggs, milk, bread, and something for dinner: $30
Trip to target for toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant, and new pants for Owen: $30
A few hours of babysitting: $30
Enough gas to get me through the next week or so: $30

This sounds like a line from a mastercard commercial, but it's not -- I'm just always spending $30 somewhere. Isn't that weird? Do you have something like that??

We always spend $50, even at the THRIFT STORE - we just get more for the money there. :0)

Still overcooking eggs? Just a random inquiry.

What can I say? Free-range chickens need pampering, it's difficult to milk soy beans, bleachless, chemical-free tp takes more effort if you want it SOFT and ABSORBENT, not to mention the man-hours involved to grow pesticide-free hemp for your clothing.

Nobody ever said being a hippie would be easy or cheap.

Plus, I read about the morning you had a few days ago... $30 for babysitting sounds like the deal of the century!

Oh, and petroleum based fuels are so 20th century.

Speaking of Clint on Tam's Blog...
Nice write up on the AMG newsletter about bundles of love!

As far as the $30 deal... I'm afraid ours is more like $50. Bigger kids and car... Gas, school lunch, dog sitter, target junk, movie night... It's all the time, I can completely relate.

I know this sounds like a broken record but to echo lisa, we are shelling out $50-$80 everytime we turn around. just last week I sent $120 to school for school dances, yearbooks, teacher appreciation gifts and field trip entrance fees. and now we are getting ready to go get Kyle b-ball shoes will be at least 80.00 oh and a mouthpiece . They have seen pics of uncle steve's incident and we are not taking any chances especially kyle who has almost perfect teeth naturally (we hate him for that) oh and talking of teeth......in February em gets her first portion of braces total cost $5800.00...so with 2 teens I would gladly take the $30.00 even 2 times per week ( sorry no sympathy from the Spees house in Illinois)
: -)

Our grocery bill is freakishly the same every week. Even when we only buy half the amount of groceries, it will somehow hit the same dollar mark. I guess I am destined to spend $118 every single Monday.
