Fall Break

After a long JV State Volleyball Tournament in Atlanta on Friday night and Saturday (which was rather dissapointing and left me with a hoarse voice for the last 2 days), steve-0 and I decided to stay in Atlanta for Fall Break. Fall Break is a southern thing...basically a "We know it's obscene to make you start school in August so we'll give you a 4-day weekend in october to try to make it up to you".
We had a good time relaxing with family, spending time with our nieces and just getting away for a few days.

Monday, Steve-o and I decided to take all the "big" kids and head out for the day with them while grandma and grandpa watched Tyler, and Jen taught tennis lessons, and sean was out of town. Four Preschoolers, 2 Adults...no problem, right?

We hit the pumpkin patch first....picked out some pumpkins and hung out for awhile...
Later we hit the pet store, got milkshakes, and carved our pumpkins back at grandma's house....

Sammi chill'n out on a jumbo pumpkin...

what's the story here, you ask? This is Owen handing me a mini pumpkin....one of about 5 that he and AJ snuck up to the treehouse and thought it might be a good idea to chuck out the windows.
Gimme the pumpkins Owen.

There was also a gazebo for the kids...that some idiot thought it might be a good idea to fill up with baby bunnies for preschool children to handle and "pet". That was probably the most stressful part of the day...making sure that the kids were gentle with the baby bunnies...
They did good though....

AJ did especially well....he LOVED those little bunnies and cuddled up really well with them. Yes, he did ask if we could buy one.
No, we did not.

Poor bunnies. I wonder how many of them die every year from being squished by crazed eyed children intent on "loving" the bunnies.

Loved this one of Sloan. She's got the prettiest eyes. (click to enlarge).

AFter we picked our pumpkins, it was time to split. AJ gave everyone a lift back to the car.

Ok, so this is the first time I've commented. So does that make me a blog virgin?
Anyways, I love those beautiful pictures of our children. Aunt Tammi is the best. I want to see some pictures of the next Roger Federer too.
Thanks for letting us make the blog.
