Check out my idea for cozy quarters. I think it will be a lot cheaper than a studio apartment in NYC.

One of the doctor's I work with has a daughter that lives in New York and she pays $3600 a month for a two bedroom one bath loft and a 1 1/2 hour commute That's exactly double what our mortgage payment is and we have 4 levels in our house here in podunk Illinois. Don't think we will be moving to NYC anytime soon. The lifestyle would be cool thogh., but we are close enough to Chicago, if I get an itch I will go up and walk on Michigan Avenue and watch the panhandleers. : - )
